Rushuang fell upon the kitchen like a hurricane, picking up then quickly discarding pots, pans, and knives with the cheerful enthusiasm of one who would not have to tidy up afterwards.
Fei Yuan shadowed her every step, fretting and fuming at this intrusion in his domain, but eventually even he was forced to admit she knew what she was doing.
Still, he watched closely as she oh-so-carefully excised the poisonous organs, and moved just in time to prevent the (perfectly edible! this is a delicacy, jiejie, show some respect!) rest of the fish from ending up on the kitchen floor.
